Waterfront Investment Properties was formed in 1995 after Founder and Principal Karen Calvacca completed several marina and hotel/resort sales and identified the need for an international firm that was well versed in the complexities of acquisition, disposition and advisory services for marina, resort residential and hotel properties. Waterfront Investment Properties quickly grew beyond its local roots and now serves buyers, sellers, and financial intermediaries throughout the globe.
Through creative advisory, transaction management, deal structuring and marketing expertise, we deliver exceptional capital solutions for our private, corporate and institutional clientele who have turned to us for their financing, acquisition and disposition needs. We maintain direct relationships with an extensive investor base including local, national and offshore entities, public and private investors, users and developers in the Marina space.

Waterfront Investment Properties has been in the sales, marketing, evaluation and management of waterfront development, hotels, marinas and marine related companies for over 15 years. During that time we have sold over $500,000,000 of marina and hotel assets globally. We currently have under agreement $250,000,000 comprising a landmark marina property and a portfolio of marinas and hotels. Moreover, we have been involved in half a dozen marina transactions in 2018 and beginning of 2019, a fact that sets us apart from traditional and asset specific brokerage competition.
